Yalizeti is an unrefined sunflower oil brand infused with single-origin Tanzanian botanicals (Wild Rosemary, Crafted Thyme, and Bird's Eye Chilli). Sunflower oil and crops are imported directly from Morogoro, Tanzania.

Cold-pressed sunflower oil is mechanically extracted with minimal processing. Its flavour, colour and characteristics can therefore differ from highly refined sunflower oils. At Yalizeti, we select our sunflower oil for its quality and its ability to complement our botanical infusions.

In many culinary applications, sunflower oil can be used where olive oil might otherwise be used, but the oils have different flavour profiles and characteristics. Yalizeti infused oils are best enjoyed raw as finishing drizzling oils, marinades, dressings, and low-to-medium heat gentle sautéing. High-heat deep frying is not recommended, as extreme heat degradation will dull delicate botanical aromatics.

If your cooking oil begins smoking, remove the pan from heat immediately. Avoid repeatedly heating and reusing cooking oil to preserve fresh flavour.

Keep tightly closed in a cool, dry pantry away from direct sunlight and excessive stove heat.

Our single-origin wild rosemary, thyme, and red bird's eye chili pods are harvested in Morogoro, Tanzania, nestled at the foot of the Uluguru Mountains.

Botanicals are shade-dried and infused in small batches to preserve essential aromatics and natural pigments without artificial extracts.
